EnquireI do like a photograph that disorientates. This was shot looking down from a balcony, it looks like it's upside down but really, since it is effectively an 'arial' shot, upside-down and right-way-up are a little arbitary. In seeking 'the unseen angle' it is quite common to take a step left or right, or to look up (which people rarely do for themselves), but it is much less common to look down; which means when you do the resulting image is often quite distinctive. It's a very powerful effect, which of course means it's something you can't do very often.
