Anonymous Epitaph

I will drink a little drink for you whenever you're not there

I will smoke a cigarette or two in this cold cold cold night air

I will try to think of you in kindly honest terms

But you were a big old bastard you bastard bleeding worm

I hear you shuffled of this coil and returned to mother earth

I hear the business you left undone is left undone in turn

I hear a little piece of me cry out from in your urn

He was a big old bastard a bastard bleeding worm

My enemies they leave their marks emblazoned on my chest

And as far as enemies can go you were my very best

My history diminishes me wars were lost not won

He was a big old bastard a bastard bleeding worm

I will drink a little drink for you now that you're not there

I will smoke a cigarette or two in this cold cold cold night air

I will try to think of you in kindly honest terms

But you were a big old bastard you bastard bleeding worm

Yes you were a big old bastard you bastard bleeding worm
