Heartbeat

Your heart-beat
Your pulse-race
You run around the block
You cant stop
You cant wait
Youre looking at your watch
Tick-tock
Tick-tock
Gotta beat the clock.
Your heart-beat
Your pulse-race
I think youd better stop!
Your heart-beat
Your pulse-race
I think youd better stop!

Global Village is where I belong
With folk of a similar nature
We can learn to sing and dance along
To the sound of our own neighbour

My head-aches
My feet pound
My world goes round and round
I feel that
I think that
I may be upside-down
A-clunk, click
A-clunk, click
Every single trip
My head-aches
My feet pound
I feel a little sick!
My head-aches
My feet pound
I feel a little sick!

When will we
Ever be free
To take one step beyond?
When will we
Ever be free
To take one giant leap?
When will we
Ever be free
To say that we belong
(When will we, Ever be free)
To a time that time forgot

We belong to a time that time forgot
for times not got no time for us
for times a flirt, a tease, a tart
shes here today, but tomorrow well part
And all our histories written down
will turn to dust and return to the ground
And if we find that great release
And if we feel that moment of peace
And if we think that it may be real
Ill make this final, lasting, appeal:

Dont let the bastards, grind you down!
I said, Dont let the bastards, grind you down!
